It is on this beautiful authentic square, behind the City Hall, that the adventure of the Estades Gallery began in 1990. Here are the roots of this passionate art merchant non other than Michel Estades, in this legendary south for its light, colours of Provence and cradle of its Mediterranean conviviality. The Estades Toulon Gallery was completely renovated in 2011 in a contemporary style, thus reinforcing its leading role in this maritime metropolis which is one of the strongholds of the Provencal school of painting.
